The University Policy on Non-discrimination and Harassment

The University Policy on Non-Discrimination and Harassment does not explicitly address sexual violence. However, the following statement suggests that University's obligation to take action against sexual violence:

"Acts of violence, and explicit threats of violence directed at a particular individual that compromise that individual's safety or ability to function within the University are direct affronts to the University's values and warrant intervention by University officials. Abusive contact directed at a particular individual that compromises that individual's ability to function within the University and/or persists after the individual has asked that it stop may also warrant such intervention."
