Filing A Complaint
In order to file a formal complaint within the College, you must file a complaint with Susan Art, the Dean of Students in the College. She will ask you write out the story of your assault to the best of your recollection. You should include as much information as possible: dates, times, locations, people who might be witnesses, etc. If you need help formulating the complaint, or if you are uncomfortable approaching the dean yourself, you can receive help from your RA or RH, a Sexual Assault Dean-on-Call, or another administrator can help you through the process. Your complaint will still have to go through Dean Art (art3@uchicago.edu).
