NOW

The campus chapter of the National Organization for Women is concerned with improving women's rights and comfort at the University of Chicago. Part of this means working to ensure that a wide variety of resources and information are available to survivors of sexual assault. NOW's main campaign at the moment is to ensure that sexual violence is recognized as a problem at the University of Chicago; this includes a campaign for a University-wide Sexual Assault Policy from the Office of the Provost and implementation of sensitivity training for campus housing and teaching staff. For more information on the campaign, see http://socialjustice.uchicago.edu/now.htm.
